Breakers that trip, outlets that quit, lights that flicker, panels that are full or failing, and work that did not pass inspection. We find what is actually wrong instead of replacing parts until the symptom goes away.

Scope and price in writing before work starts
Most electrical companies treat repair as filler between the big jobs. At 4B it is the largest part of the business, and it is how most of our customers meet us. That means it gets real diagnostic time, not whoever happens to be free.
A tripping breaker is a symptom. We trace it to the actual fault instead of swapping the breaker and leaving.
The same crews work on houses, retail spaces, and occupied office buildings.
If another electrician started it and it is not right, we will look at it and tell you what it takes to finish it correctly.
Once we know what is wrong, you get the price before the repair starts, not on an invoice afterward.
You do not need to know what is wrong. Describe what is happening and we take it from there.
Usually a circuit carrying more than it should, a failing breaker, or a fault on the line. All three look the same from the panel.
Often a loose connection or a tripped device upstream that nobody knows is there.
Can be a single fixture, or it can be a loose neutral, which is a more serious conversation.
Panels are not supposed to buzz or run warm. This one gets looked at sooner rather than later.
Read the safety note further down this page before you call anyone, including us.
A partial outage points somewhere specific, and it is usually not the utility.
Either the device has failed or it is doing its job and warning you about a fault. Worth knowing which.
Send us the correction list. We will price it and clear it.
The expensive version of an electrical repair is the one where somebody replaces parts one at a time until the problem stops, and bills you for all of them. Proper troubleshooting costs less because it ends sooner.
The hardest calls are the ones where nothing is wrong when we arrive. Those take patience and a methodical approach, and they are often the ones somebody else already gave up on.
A correction list is not a judgment on the whole building. It is a list. We price it, clear it, and get you back in front of the inspector.
A home inspection flagged the electrical and the deal is waiting. Send us the report. We will tell you what has to be corrected, what is a note rather than a defect, and what it costs.
An insurer will not write or renew a policy until something is corrected, usually the panel or the service. We handle the correction and the inspection that follows.
A permitted job did not pass and the schedule is stopped. We take the correction list, price it, do the work, and meet the inspector when they return.
A surge protector at the panel helps shield appliances, electronics, and HVAC equipment from voltage spikes caused by storms and the grid. It is a small add-on to most panel work.
For older homes, new purchases, insurance questions, or peace of mind. We check the panel, grounding, wiring, and devices, then walk you through what we found and what it would take to fix.
We run service calls Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Call during those hours and we will tell you honestly when we can be there rather than promising a window we cannot hold.
Calls after hours will be returned the next business morning.
If you smell burning, see smoke or sparks, or a panel or outlet is hot to the touch, shut off the main breaker if you can reach it safely, get everyone out, and call 911.
An electrical fire is a fire department call. Once the situation is safe, call us and we will take it from there.
We find the fault first. Quoting a repair before knowing what is wrong is how a small job turns into a large invoice.
If there is a repair and also a bigger fix, you hear both, with the price on each. Which one happens is your call.
We make the repair, put the circuit back under load, and confirm the problem is gone before we pack up.
"I called 4B electric to have a transfer switch put in for a generator. They showed up and got the job done in an hour and a half with minimal electrical disruption to the house. The quality of work was excellent and they cleaned up after. The pricing was very fair as well. Thank you 4B electric!"
"We had our house struck by lightning. Josh with 4B came out the next morning without an appointment to assess the damage and help with next steps. Everyone who came out was knowledgeable and professional. Would use them again.”
"4B electric did an excellent job wiring our hot tub and also did an RV plug as well and they got in the attic in the Texas summer heat. I would highly recommend this company and I will definitely use them again for future projects. They cleaned up and threw trash away unlike other electric companies"
